Please join me in breathing a few sighs of relief. Big sighs. Not yet king sighs. Actual-sighs-may-vary sighs. These are only preliminary results. Still waiting on polls to close in Ohio. But today's CAT-scan exit poll shows:

- BOAT size: At first look by one radiologist, it "appears to have shrunk somewhat." To be confirmed tonight by the chief radiologist (I guess he's the one that holds the 'official' measuring stick). But the way I see it, if it were bigger, the guy today woulda spotted it in the bat of an eye. I saw their workspace. Their primary task is to look at and analyze CAT scans.

- Activity (i.e., how much / how fast the boat's bad cells are reproducing): Top five answers on the board,... Survey says,... "Less active!" Damn good answer, because about two months ago they were holding a veritable Regatta de Blanc in the abdomen and threatening to hoist sails and cast away to further seas-oh. (Second top answer, by the way, "Guatemala." I dont know where they get these survey groups)

So it looks like the latest new rounds of chemo torpedoes gave the regatta a little taste of Zenyatta Yo'Mama. Again, not yet confirmed, and not yet the greatest of news (which news would be "Open seas in the abdomen, Captain"), but it's indeed cause for some initial sighs. And with the recent setback of the previous failed chemo round, I think we can all agree that sighs matter.
